Interesting Historical Stuff:
The SA Military
History Society's website
is such a treat for historical fanatics. The site abounds with
articles dating from 1967 to 2010, and those up to 2005 can be
read on their site. In 1967 Volume 1 No 1 of the Military History
Journal is introduced by Lt-Gen. G.E. BRINK, CB, CBE, DSO, Chairman,
Board of trustees. Read
the full article here.
The Military
History Journal (incorporating the Museum Review), established
in 1967, is published by the South African National Museum Of
Military History in association with the South African Military
History Society, bi-annually, in June and December.
The aim of
the Journal is to publish research and articles of interest concerning
military history by members of the Society or the Museum or any
other person who wishes to submit his or her work.
